Happy Family

"We are going to give you categories. In the fastest time possible, find everyone in that same category and group together. Eg: Favourite color. Etc etc… Once you get everyone in the group, quickly sit down. The fastest team to be grouped are the winners!"

1. Regions that you live at ie North South East West Northeast
2. Brand of Handphone
3. No. of siblings you have
4. Birthday month

This works well for big groups when you are getting them warmed up! Played this at East Coast Park and it was funny especially when it came to the handphone models, Dopod had one person, Motorola a few 'xiao miao' and Nokia was a huge group! Think those Moto-fans looked quite sad! HAHAH~

World Cup Fever!

Hi guys, I am back from a long long break! I have decided to start posting on this site more regularly and get my head together to come up with more interesting and exciting games, but most of all, fresh games! I plan to add in photos in the coming weeks so you have a clearer idea of how fun the games are! The following game is specially for the World Cup Season!

Divide the group into 2 teams. Have them fill up A4 papers numbering from 1 to the number of people in the team. The numbers are to be pasted on each player's back, almost like a jersey number. There will be a series of questions that they must answer by coming out to you and showing the answer by facing their backs to you. Following are examples of questions:

How many goals did Italy score against Germany in the semi-final? 2
How many goals did France score against Portugal in the semi-final? 1
How many times have Brazil won the World Cup? 5
What is Beckham's jersey number? 23
The World Cup is held once every how many years? 4
67 + 82 - 96 = ? 53
9 x 2 + 24 = ? 42
72/9 + 52 /20 = ? 3

Scavenger Hunt

This is the normal Scavenger Hunt we all know so well, where we give the players a list of items and the team who can come up with the most items in the fastest time wins. However, we can make the game more interesting.

Let there be several rounds to the game, with each round asking for a different set of items. Rattle off the items very quickly to make it more challenging for the players. Then, get them to do certain tasks using the items they have gathered.

Examples:

1. Form the tallest structure using all the items
2. Form the longest structure using all the items
3. Form a person's name using all the items
4. Form cg name using the items
5. Hold all the items using only one hand

Action Game

Divide the people into 2 teams and get them to stand in one straight line, one behind another. You will be behind the last man and do a series of actions. The objective of the game is for that last man to pass the action to the next one until the end of the line when the player will verify the actions with you. The team with the most correct series of actions will win the game.

Actions (Use dance moves, and involve as many body parts as possible)

1. Jump twice, twist your head to the right 2 times, snap your fingers

2. Wave to the right, wave to the left, squat down then jump up

3. Great Singapore Workout

4. Extraordinary dance moves.... etc... you get the idea!

Leave the most complicated set of actions for the last round and get the final losing team to do this set of actions together like a dance. Get them to hum a tune and repeat the steps several times. It can be pretty hilarious!

Yellow Paper

Get yellow post-it pads and paste it at odd corners and walls that are difficult to reach but still visible.

"You see the yellow post-it pads all around the room? When I call out a certain body part, you must quickly stick that body part to the yellow post-it pad to be safe and clear the round. After each round, I will be removing some of the post-it pads and we shall see who will be the last remaining player! Right now, I want to move around in a circle, keep walking until I shout out a body part. Ready?

Body parts: Lips, chin, nose, elbow, toes, ears, armpit, etc... you get the idea!

Human MCQ

Get masking tape and prepare 4 strips for each person, writing A, B, C, D respectively on each strip. Get the players to paste one anywhere on their face, on their face, on their legs and on their back.

"I will be giving you a series of questions with 4 different options. To answer the question, you just have to cover all other options which are wrong. For example, if the answer is A, you as a team must cover all the masking tapes that have B, C, D on them. Clear? Once your team is ready, shout out the answer!"

Questions:

What is the 40th book of the Old Testament?
1. Malachi
2. Hezekiah
3. Jeremiah
4. None of the above

How many cellgroups are there in the zone?
1. 11
2. 12
3. 13
4. 15

Human Tic-Tac-Toe

Divide the people into 2 teams, and get them to number themselves from 1-the number of people in the team.

"When I call out your number, you must come and stand in whichever box you want. Then I will give both teams a task to perform, and the member of the winning team will get to stay in the box while the other team's member will go back. The winning team will be the team that forms 1 straight line first? Clear?"

Tasks
The tasks can be in the form of activities to be completed with the fastest team winning, questions, challenges and other activities based on your creativity! ;)
